It’s a story of agility, friction and discomfort, and sees mini donuts and environmental stewardship go hand-in-hand. Turner explains where the energy transition leads, what our energy future looks like, and what it means for the strategic decisions businesses and organizations need to make to find a place to thrive in this new economy. |

Speaking to the importance of our northern airport to the region and where it ranks nationally amongst regional airports. Lastly, the presentation will show the challenges and impacts of climate change and how we deal with it at our airport. |

Whatever the particulars may be for a given place, it is important for design to respond to a place’s given conditions and use the resources most readily available within that place to overcome that hardships presented by those conditions. The lecture will explore the lessons learned from Warming Huts- Art and Architecture on Ice with a few precedents from other places responding to their own challenges. |
